Orgvue Public Sector Hub

Government and Public Sector
Orgvue is proud to be the organisational design and workforce planning partner for many UK public sector departments, agencies and other organisations.
As well as helping each organisation understand their workforces and deliver on their workforce strategies, we have built a collaborative community of leaders and practitioners through our public sector community events.
This hub is a great way to find relevant content and also register for our upcoming events.
Addressing key workforce challenges in the public sector
- The UK public sector faces a number of challenges, including increasing demand, constrained budgets, skills shortages and new technologies.
- The workforce is critical to each of these, being a lever to address and being impacted by each.
- Many public sector organisations say they do not have the tools to tackle this and that their data quality and lack of position information is also a barrier.
- We are told staff are leaving and not all positions are being replaced to meet cost constraints. This risks undermining service levels.
- The public sector has the opportunity to review the work that roles do to focus on business priorities so that better outcomes can be achieved more cost effectively with better employee experiences too.
- One public sector Orgvue user stated that they now have the levers to dial up/down costs based on Spending Review and demand requirements, that employees are engaged as they have been able to address a key work concern and that the unions are also onboard as they can see the rationale for various options.
